Established in 1982, H.O.P.E. is dedicated to preserving the historic architecture and heritage in the village of Hope, New Jersey.
Our Contributions are Many and Ongoing
Since its inception, H.O.P.E. has accomplished and supported a variety of initiatives to heighten awareness of Hope’s history and reinforce its legacy. This includes aiding local efforts to preserve and relocate the Bottomly House within the village’s bounds, a full restoration of The Long House on Walnut Street, and developing Hope’s Walking Tour Brochure.
“It’s great to see H.O.P.E.’s new projects up and running. This group has done so much for our town, and we applaud their work. The recent restoration of the Long House is wonderful, and it means so much for the community to see that historic building in use again. We look forward to supporting H.O.P.E. as they roll out their restoration of the Cooper and Crusen houses and continue to make Hope’s history a vital part of its future.”
